Multiple sites through the day offer a large glimpse into the living conditions of ancients
The lower Butler Wash Hike is one of the most interesting hikes available within the Bears Ears National Monument if you are looking for an opportunity to see multiple historical sites within a one day stop. This trip combines several small short hikes into a full day of Four different sites that can be reached on foot from various locations. We will start by visiting one of the coolest ruin and petroglyph/pictograph sites and then work our way on to three more sites of petroglyphs, one of which is one of the largest petroglyph collections in the area. This trip has been raved about by visitors who didn't realize how rich the area was with history and that you could see that much in one day.
