Leprechaun Canyon has become the iconic North Wash Canyon and usually one that is first on anyone's list when going to the North Wash area. It has made it's television debut being used for staging and locations shoot for the movie "127 Hours" starring James Franco as Aron Ralston.
Leprechaun Canyon boasts some of the most georgously sculpted walls in North Wash. It has tight narrow sections, three rappels and lots and lots of squeezing, climbing, stemming, and pushing your body to a near breaking point feeling. The exit hike out of Leprechaun Canyon however is one of the most scenic and iconic images you will ever have the pleasure of being around.

Distance = 4.2 miles - Elevation gain/loss = 1425ft.
Trips meets and leaves from our office in Blanding Utah at 7:00 a.m. We can arrange to meet you at the trail head area in the North Wash, our meet time out there will be approx. 8:45 a.m.
Please plan to wear good comfortable footwear and clothing that can get beat up. We provide all the necessary technical rope gear, harness, helmets and rappel devices needed.
